GrammarlyGO is Grammarly's generative-AI layer, adding on-demand drafting, replies, tone shifts and rewriting on top of the classic grammar engine, surfaced contextually wherever Grammarly already runs. Its strength is convenience: generative help appears right in your inbox, docs and apps without switching to a separate chatbot, which suits people who want quick AI assists inside their existing writing flow. For Grammarly subscribers it is bundled rather than a separate purchase.
The honest caveat is that, as a feature rather than a standalone product, its generative quality is solid but not differentiated from general-purpose LLMs, and Grammarly's own branding around these AI features keeps evolving. There is no separate API, and it inherits Grammarly's English-first orientation and unrestricted ASEAN access. Worth using if you already pay for Grammarly; not a reason to switch on its own.
