Who writes RECATOOLS

Every article on this site is published under a named byline, dated, and attached to a defined beat. This page is the whole masthead — including the parts that are desks and personas rather than people, and which is which.

Some publishers put a photo grid here and leave it at that. Below each byline you will find what it actually covers, how many articles it has published, the year it started, and — where the byline is a desk or a persona rather than an individual — the disclosure that says so in plain words.

How an article gets published

The steps between a story existing and you reading it.

Selection and sourcing

We follow AI, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, ASEAN policy, finance, and developer tooling. A story runs when there is a primary source worth reading — a filing, an advisory, a paper, a rate table — not when the slot needs filling.

Editorial policy →

Where AI is used, and where it is not

AI assists with research, first drafts, summarisation, and translation. A human reads every piece before it publishes and is named on it. AI runs nowhere near the tools themselves: every calculator is ordinary deterministic code.

How we work →

Review before publication

Each article is checked for source quality, accuracy of any figure it quotes, clarity, and whether it is genuinely useful to the reader it is aimed at. Statutory rates and tax tables are checked against the issuing authority, not against another article.

See the output →

Corrections

When we get something wrong we correct the article and state what changed. No silent edits, no quietly swapped paragraph, no vague "updated" stamp standing in for an apology. Tell us and we will fix it.

Corrections policy →

Found an error? Tell us.

If an article contains a mistake, an out-of-date figure, or is missing context that changes the point, write to the editorial team. Say which article and what is wrong — that is enough.
