SageGPT (式说) is the enterprise generative-AI model of 4Paradigm, renamed Phancy Group (范式智能) in January 2026. SageGPT was a sensible early answer to enterprise generative AI in China: private deployment, answers grounded in a company's own knowledge base, and a Copilot that drives existing software rather than replacing it. The backing is solid; the parent, now Phancy Group, reported 43.4% revenue growth and a profit in the first half of 2026.
But the group's own pages no longer feature SageGPT. Its growth is in GPU virtualisation, its model community and token-priced API services, and the SageGPT page sits on the legacy site. Large Chinese enterprises can still ask for it; anyone else should look at the current Phancy line-up first.
What we found
SageGPT (式说) is the generative-AI model line of 4Paradigm (第四范式), the Beijing enterprise-AI company that listed in Hong Kong in 2023 under the code 6682. The company has since renamed itself. Its English name became Phancy Group Co., Ltd. on 7 January 2026, its Hong Kong short names changed to PHANCY and 范式智能 on 20 January, and its new site, phancy.ai, presents it as a "token factory" linking computing hardware, models and enterprise applications. The ticker is unchanged.
SageGPT first appeared in February 2023 as a text-only model and was shown publicly as 式说 3.0 on 26 April 2023, when 4Paradigm also announced its AIGS strategy of rebuilding enterprise software with generative AI. The product page still describes three stages: a Copilot that calls a program's own data and functions through dialogue, a knowledge base so the model follows a company's internal rules, and chain-of-thought reasoning to split complex work into steps. It stresses private deployment, multimodal input, no calls to outside models and answers traceable to the knowledge base. One demo finds similar parts in an aviation maker's library of millions of tooling components.
The brand has receded. SageGPT is not among the four core products the group now lists: HAMi, its open-source GPU virtualisation project with the commercial RISE vGPU; the ModelHub XC model community; the 先知 AIOS machine-learning platform; and Phanthy Enterprise, which bundles PhanRouter and PhanClaw. The SageGPT page survives on the older 4paradigm.com site, under 4Paradigm AIGS.
The business around it is growing. For the half to June 2026 the group reported revenue of 3.765 billion yuan, up 43.4%, and a profit of 119 million yuan against a loss a year earlier. API revenue grew 860.8% to 464 million yuan, the AI Platform segment 30.0%, and Agentic AI only 4.9%, to 214 million yuan. No price is published for any of it; sales run through enquiry.
