Uizard is a Copenhagen-built UI design tool that turns text prompts, screenshots and hand-drawn wireframes into editable mockups and clickable prototypes. Miro acquired it in June 2024 and still sells it as a standalone product, with a free plan and paid plans from $12 a month billed annually.

Uizard remains a fast way for non-designers to get from an idea to clickable screens: Autodesigner builds multi-screen projects from a prompt, and the scanners turn screenshots and sketches into editable mockups. The free plan is enough to try it, and Pro at $12 a month billed annually is cheap.
The concern is momentum. Since Miro bought it in June 2024 the blog and site have not visibly moved, output is concept-grade rather than production design, and code handoff is per component. Good for early concepts and stakeholder demos; do not build a design system on it.
What we found
Uizard is an AI-assisted interface design tool from Copenhagen. It grew out of pix2code, a 2017 machine-learning research project that generated code from screenshots of interfaces, and became a company in early 2018. Miro, the online whiteboard company, announced on 12 June 2024 that Uizard had joined it; earlier versions of this page dated the deal to May. Uizard's terms of service now name UizardApp ApS, care of Miro in Copenhagen, as the operator.
More than two years later, Uizard is still sold on its own at uizard.io, with separate sign-up and pricing, and has not been folded into a Miro plan. The visible signs of development have stopped, though. The newest post on its blog is from June 2024, when Autodesigner 2.0 launched alongside the acquisition news, and the site footer still reads 2024. No later release was found on Uizard's or Miro's pages, so a buyer should not assume a steady roadmap.
What exists works as described. Autodesigner generates multi-screen app or web projects, single screens and themes from a text prompt; Screenshot Scanner turns a screenshot into an editable mockup; Wireframe Scanner digitises a hand-drawn sketch. Screens link into clickable prototypes that can be shared, embedded or commented on by unlimited free viewers, and paid plans add developer handoff as React and CSS components. The pricing page also lists AI attention heatmaps and design reviews.
Prices are quoted per month, billed annually. Free allows three AI generations a month on the older Autodesigner 1.5, two projects of up to five screens, and exports at 1x resolution only. Pro costs $12 with 500 generations, Autodesigner 2.0 and up to 100 projects; Business is $39 with 5,000 generations, unlimited projects and a custom brand kit. Enterprise, for 15 seats or more, is quoted, and no monthly-billing price is shown. For product managers and founders sketching concepts, it is still quick.
