Huawei Cloud folded the Pangu-model-based assistant into a relaunched product called CodeArts Agent, marketed under the Chinese name "码道" (Ma Dao), which entered public beta on 26 February 2026 at codearts.huaweicloud.com. The old CodeArts Snap product page (huaweicloud.com/zhishi/codearts-sanp.html) now 404s, and the generic huaweicloud.com website_url on file doesn't land on the product either.
The relaunch shifted the pitch from line-level completion to project-level understanding: an "AI-native IDE + code agent + million-line-scale codebase indexing" combination, per Huawei's own materials, covering project-level code generation, code continuation, R&D knowledge Q&A, unit-test generation, "expert skill" modules and spec-driven development.
