Corti offers some of the most specialised healthcare speech and documentation AI available to developers, with transparent usage pricing, strong compliance credentials and now its own scribe app. Its accuracy and benchmark claims are largely its own, and the independent KLAS score rests on limited data. Corti is a Danish healthcare AI company that sells its technology mainly as APIs for developers building clinical software, and now also as a scribe app for clinicians. Its Symphony model family handles medical speech recognition, with speech-to-text launched in May 2026, alongside APIs for clinical documentation, medical coding, agents and text generation; Corti says Symphony ranks first on OpenAI's HealthBench Professional and achieves about a 2 per cent medical word error rate across 14 languages, both its own claims. Corti Assistant, available separately, is an AI scribe for clinicians. In 2026 it also launched Corti Models, general-purpose and coding language models running on European hardware behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. It reports HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance and says more than 500 organisations build on its platform.
Corti was founded in Denmark in 2016 by Andreas Cleve, its chief executive, and Lars Maaløe; it is run by Corti ApS from Copenhagen, with offices in New York and London and about 95 staff in nine countries. It raised a $27 million Series A in 2021 and a $60 million Series B in 2023 co-led by Prosus Ventures and Atomico, which CNBC reported valued it at $260 million. A KLAS report in April 2026 scored it 93.3, but KLAS itself flagged limited data from a small sample.
API use is pay-as-you-go after $50 of free credits, valid for a year: speech-to-text costs $0.0065 a minute and documentation, coding, agents and text generation $4 per million input tokens and $16 per million output, prices Corti cut by about a fifth in November 2025. The S1 models cost $1 to $2 per million input tokens. An Acceleration Pack costs $1,000 a month with credits and five development hours; Advance and Enterprise are custom. Corti Assistant has a free plan of ten sessions a week and a Pro plan at $99 a month.
