Pricing is hidden behind a login, with membership advertised from ¥0.89 a day plus daily free points, so check the plans in the app. Use acgnai.art — not the smalld.cn corporate site or the unofficial addresses some directories list, one of which now redirects to adult content. Chushou AI (触手AI) built its following in China as an anime-style image generator for illustrators and comic artists, with online LoRA training so users could teach it a character or style without a local GPU, ControlNet-style controls and a community square for sharing models. In 2026 it has pivoted: its site now describes it as a full pipeline for AI comic short dramas. A story goes in, a language model splits it into a storyboard, panels are drawn with characters kept consistent, and image-to-video powered by ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 turns them into animated clips, with upscaling and cut-outs along the way. The image generator, LoRA training and model and comic communities remain. It has cleared China's deep-synthesis algorithm filing.
It is no longer only a Chinese product. The app ships Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English text, accepts international phone numbers and Discord sign-in, and shares its code with an English-language anime art site, AnimeShorts, which appears to be its overseas edition.
The operator is Hangzhou Jellyfish Intelligence (水母智能), founded at the end of 2020 as a spin-out of the LKK design group, which also sells AI logo and packaging design at smalld.cn — the address older listings, including ours, wrongly gave for Chushou. The company says it has raised a nine-figure renminbi sum from investors including Source Code Capital, Sequoia, GL Ventures, Yuanjing and Weiguang. Note that one unofficial address some directories list for it now redirects to an adult website; use acgnai.art.
Pricing is shown only after signing in with a phone number or WeChat. The app advertises membership from as little as ¥0.89 a day and runs on points, with daily sign-in rewards for free users; we could not read the plans themselves. Independent reviews of the new short-drama product are not yet available. It is a reasonable choice for Chinese-speaking creators making anime-style comics and clips; check the member plans inside the app before paying.
