Sana is an enterprise AI platform from Stockholm's Sana Labs that answers questions, runs no-code agents and automates work across a company's connected apps, with 100+ integrations including Google Drive, SharePoint, Notion, Confluence, Salesforce and Slack. It is sold alongside the Sana Learn learning platform, and its public price list now shows only custom-priced Enterprise. Sana is a well-built enterprise AI platform: single-tenant, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified, model-agnostic, and able to search documents, spreadsheets, meeting recordings and CRM data across 100+ connected apps. Workday ownership adds a second route in for Workday customers, through Sana from Workday and Workday Learning.
The catch is access. The public price list now shows only custom Enterprise pricing, after the Free and $30 Team plans disappeared from it between late September and 12 October 2026, and Sana Learn starts at 300 users on three-year contracts. The sign-up page still mentions free workspaces in its fine print, but we could not confirm one is provisioned. This is a platform for mid-size and large organisations. English-first and sold globally; nothing ASEAN-specific.
What we found
The biggest change underneath Sana is ownership. Workday announced on 16 September 2025 that it would buy all outstanding shares of the Stockholm company for approximately $1.1 billion, and completed the deal on 4 November 2025. Sana Labs, the company behind it, dates from 2016; the AI agent product arrived in 2023. Sana Labs AB still runs sanalabs.com under its own brand, but the site now says "Sana is now part of Workday" and the roadmap is Workday's.
There are two routes to the same technology. Sana (still called Sana Agents in its help centre) and Sana Learn are sold to any company. Workday customers get it more deeply: Sana from Workday went live worldwide on 17 March 2026 as a conversational front end for HR and finance tasks, paid through Workday Flex Credits, and Workday Learning is now "powered by Sana".
On paper the platform is strong. Sana says it syncs with more than 100 applications, reads documents, spreadsheets, video and CRM records, runs single-tenant with SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certification, and lets admins choose language models. Workday said Sana's products had served over a million users across hundreds of enterprises; that is an acquirer's figure, and we could not read review sites to test it.
The public price list has narrowed. Between late September and 12 October 2026 the Free and $30-per-user Team plans disappeared from it, and it now shows only Sana Enterprise at custom pricing, booked through a sales call. The sana.ai sign-up page still mentions free workspaces in its fine print, but we could not confirm that one is provisioned. Sana Learn is quoted per user on three-year contracts, from 300 users.
Sana suits mid-size and large organisations and is the natural pick for Workday shops. Small teams and individuals will find no published self-serve plan to buy today.
