Munch has changed under its own name: the GetMunch clipper is now Munch Studio, an AI social media manager that proposes a content strategy, generates posts, carousels and short videos, and publishes them to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Plans start at $38 a month billed annually, with a seven-day trial.
The caution is the company's support record: most reviews on its older Trustpilot profile are one-star, and the commonest complaint is being charged after cancelling. Worth a trial for a small business with no one to run its social accounts; set a reminder before it ends.
What we found
Munch is no longer the product most of its old reviews describe. The Tel Aviv company behind it, Munch Content Platform Ltd., built its name as GetMunch, a tool that cut podcasts and webinars into captioned vertical clips. In September 2025 it launched Munch Studio, and getmunch.com now redirects to munchstudio.com, which sells something broader: an AI that learns a business from its website, posts and brand files, then writes a content strategy, generates posts, posters and carousels, schedules them to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok, and reports performance in one dashboard. Long-video clipping survives as one metered feature rather than the whole product.
Pricing is published and comes in two families. Single-brand plans are Essential at $58 a month, or $38 billed annually, and Premium at $85 or $60. Multi-brand plans for agencies are Studio at $148 or $118 for up to five brands, and Scale at $398 or $318 for up to fifteen. Every plan has a seven-day free trial; there is no free tier. Earlier versions of this page listed Pro, Elite and Ultimate clip plans that no current Munch page offers.
The public review record is mostly about the old clipping tool, and it is poor. The getmunch.com profile on Trustpilot showed 2.0 from 39 reviews when read on 12 October 2026, with 56 per cent one-star. The commonest complaint, in at least 11 of the 39, is billing: charges after cancelling, no visible cancel option, or no reply from support. Clip-quality complaints are real but fewer, one or two reviews each. A separate Munch Studio profile, claimed in April 2026, had 3.8 from eight reviews.
Treat Munch Studio as a new product carrying an older company's support reputation. Take the trial, set a cancellation reminder before day seven, and judge it on the posts it writes for your own business.
