invideo has grown from a stock-footage video assembler into an agent-driven editor with a real timeline, live collaboration, project export to Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and one credit wallet for many leading generative models. Manual editing costs nothing, which makes it usable as a plain browser editor.
The credit model is still the catch. Every generation is charged, unused credits expire monthly, invideo can change credit costs without notice and refunds stop once anything is generated. Trustpilot scores are poor. Good for high-volume social video if you budget the burn; weak where costs must be predictable.

The product this page first covered, invideo AI, appeared in 2023 as a prompt-to-video assembler that stitched stock footage, AI voiceover, captions and music into a finished edit. In September 2026 invideo documented invideo Editor, a browser timeline with multiple tracks, keyframes, colour grading and an audio mixer, driven by an agent called Agent Two that takes instructions in plain language. Edits can be exported as MP4 or carried into Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and an MCP connection lets outside agents such as Claude Cowork or Codex work on the same timeline. Manual timeline editing is free and does not use credits.
The generative side is a marketplace of third-party models paid for in credits: Google's Veo 3.1, OpenAI's Sora 2, Kling, Wan, Hailuo and the Seedance family for video; Nano Banana Pro, Ideogram, Flux Kontext, Seedream and OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst for images; ElevenLabs and MiniMax for audio. invideo says models are charged at their original API pricing and reserves the right to change credit costs without notice. Its own calculator puts a Seedance 2.0 Fast video at about 30 credits and a Nano Banana Pro image at about 2.5.
Plans are priced per seat: Starter at $20 a month for 400 credits, Plus at $60 for 2,000 and Max at $150 for 5,000. The annual list price is simply twelve times the monthly one, but a promotion running when we checked halved it. Team, at $79 a seat, and Scale, at $215, serve businesses, and Enterprise adds SOC 2 and single sign-on. Monthly credits do not roll over. The free plan needs no card and resets each week.
Credit burn is still what reviewers complain about. On Trustpilot, read on 14 October 2026, the ai.invideo.io profile scored 2.9 from 902 reviews and the older invideo.io profile 1.8 from 1,023. Refunds are granted only within seven days, and only if nothing was generated or downloaded.
