Its pricing is a maze of packages, cards and sale prices, and its 98 per cent accuracy figure comes from a single provincial lab test. iFlyrec (讯飞听见) is iFLYTEK's transcription service for turning recordings, meetings and video into text, aimed mainly at Chinese-speaking users. It transcribes uploaded audio and video, in-app and desktop recordings and podcast links, with real-time transcription, AI meeting notes, simultaneous interpretation and translation, and runs its generative features on iFLYTEK's Spark model. Machine transcription covers more than 20 languages and dialects, including Vietnamese, and iFlyrec says an hour of audio can be transcribed in as little as five minutes; files can be up to five hours or 2GB, a hundred at a time. Unusually, it also sells human transcription, including Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay and Thai, with claimed accuracy above 98 per cent for clear Mandarin and 95 per cent for English. The 98 per cent machine-accuracy figure on its homepage comes from testing by the Anhui Electronic Product Supervision and Inspection Institute, a provincial lab in iFLYTEK's home province. Businesses can integrate through APIs and SDKs or deploy privately.
iFlyrec is run by Anhui Tingjian Technology in Hefei, a unit of iFLYTEK, the Shenzhen-listed speech-AI company, and was an official speech-to-text supplier at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
New users get a free trial including one hour of transcription, and any machine transcript can be previewed free for its first three minutes. The recording package costs ¥25 a month, or ¥198 a year on sale, for 3,000 minutes of in-app recordings and podcasts; the all-access 畅享包 costs ¥98 a month, or ¥518 a year on sale, for 6,000 minutes including imported files and AI writing. Prepaid machine-transcription cards cost ¥118 for 10 hours, ¥450 for 50 and ¥888 for 100. Human transcription costs from ¥80 an hour for clear Chinese audio and ¥30 a minute for English, and team plans start at ¥588 per person a year. Students and teachers get half price.
