A career test hands you three letters. Across all 24,137,569 possible score sheets from our own test, the third one is decided by the alphabet in 16% of them — and 42.2% would report a different code if a single answer moved one point.

A desk calendar standing on a pale surface, shot from a low angle. Its wire spiral binding runs along the top edge and the month name FEVEREIRO — February in Portuguese — is printed vertically down the left side in white on grey. The date grid beside it is faint and almost empty.

What Is One Month After 31 January?

28 February or 3 March — both are in daily use, and your date calculator probably will not tell you which one it picked. We checked our own, found it printing a claim its own arithmetic contradicted, and fixed eight tools.

Apple Is Building AI Servers in Texas. That Matters More Than the Mac.

Why Your Personality Result Changes When You Retake It

A four-part label is two numbers passed through a threshold. We walked all 1,089 possible score pairs on our own attachment test and found that 413 of them — 37.9 per cent — sit within three points of a boundary, and 128 would change label if a single answer moved by a single point. That is arithmetic, not psychology, and it is the likeliest reason a retake moved you.

One Checkbox Multiplies Your Ink Bill by Thirteen

Cartridge yields are rated against test pages averaging about 5 per cent ink coverage. We printed five of our own pages twice — once with Background graphics on, once with it off — and the same document used between 7.5 and 13.8 times more ink depending on nothing but that checkbox. Printed normally, every page came in under the rated coverage.
