Supernormal began as an AI meeting notetaker and now sells itself as something wider. Colin Treseler and Fabian Perez started the company in 2020, and Tech.eu, reporting its $10 million seed round in January 2023, said the product had launched in October 2022. Balderton Capital led that round, with EQT Ventures, Acequia Capital and byFounders, taking the total raised to $12 million; no later round has been announced. The about page puts the company in Stockholm and New York with 20 employees, and claims more than 700,000 organisations served, which is Supernormal's own figure.
The bot-free claim checks out. The notetaker is a desktop app that records from the user's own computer, so no bot joins the call; it needs an Apple Silicon Mac on macOS 14.4.1 or later, or Windows 11. That suits client meetings where a named bot tile would be awkward. What happens after the call has changed. The homepage now pitches AI agents for agencies: prompts that turn a meeting into pitch decks, creative briefs, proposals, follow-up emails, spreadsheets and social images. Integrations listed today are Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Linear and Google Drive, plus an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Earlier versions of this page listed Slack, Notion and HubSpot sync and more than 60 languages; none of those appear on the current site.
Pricing is credit-based, and earlier versions of this page had the billing backwards. The free plan gives 5 credits a day and 15 a month plus the bot-free notetaker. Team is $20 a month billed monthly or $18 a month billed annually for 50 credits shared across unlimited seats, with annual credits rolling over for up to two years. Business is $40 monthly or $36 annually and adds SSO, audit logs, data retention and admin controls. Bundles of up to 250 credits can be selected. The pricing page states SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
For a team that only wants transcripts, more direct notetakers exist. It fits agencies that want meetings turned into client deliverables.
