实在Agent is one of the more credible computer-use agents available: it grew out of years of RPA work, it drives legacy desktop software through the screen rather than APIs, and its agent framework sits top of OSWorld's verified results at 90.19%. A free community edition means an individual can try it on Windows or Android today.
The enterprise edition, private deployment and the TARS model are priced by quote, and the product, docs and support are Chinese-first. Worth evaluating for operations teams automating Chinese business software; it is not related to ByteDance's similarly named UI-TARS.
What we found
实在Agent, sold in English as Z-Agent, is the computer-use agent of Intelligence Indeed (实在智能), a Hangzhou automation company registered in March 2018 and operated by 浙江实在智能科技有限公司. Earlier versions of this page called the vendor "Shizhuan AI", a misreading of 实在 (shízài), and said it had moved to Anji after a 2024 rename; the company's own about page still gives Hangzhou as headquarters. The business began in robotic process automation, software robots that click through desktop applications for a worker, and in August 2023 it released TARS, its own vertical language model, alongside the first version of the agent.
The agent takes a task in plain language, plans the steps and carries them out on screen. The company describes TARS as the planner and its ISSUT screen-understanding technology as the eyes, finding buttons and fields the way a person would rather than through an application's API. The strongest public evidence is OSWorld's verified results, where the Intelligence-Indeed Agent framework scored 90.19%, or 325.59 of 361 real computer tasks, top of the table and ahead of Anthropic's best entry at 85.96%. That is an agent framework running on general models, from a single run, not the TARS model alone.
Intelligence Indeed says it serves more than 6,000 enterprise customers and employs about 400 people, with offices in Tokyo and Malaysia; its English site still says 4,000. A customer quote on its homepage credits the agent with sixfold faster data retrieval across more than 50 routine tasks at Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical. Savings figures this page used to quote for Zhouheiya, a 91% completion score from a think-tank ranking and a per-seat SaaS price could not be found in any source and have been removed.
A community edition (社区版) is free to download for Windows, Android and domestic Xinchuang systems, with Mac and HarmonyOS listed as coming. The enterprise edition, private deployment and the TARS model are sold through sales with no published price, and the product, documentation and support are Chinese-first.
