The company backs that with real capital -- $41M raised, including a $30M Series A led by Accel with Citi Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures -- and a 4.9-star rating across seven Gartner Peer Insights reviews, thin but positive. The catch: the eye-catching numbers (90% MTTR reduction, 96% fewer false positives, millions of investigations) come from Prophet's own materials, not independent audits, and pricing is quote-only with no public per-alert or per-seat rate card. Worth a pilot for SOC teams drowning in alert volume; verify the metrics against your own alert mix before betting the queue on it.

The caveat worth repeating: that same coverage is explicitly a sponsored showcase, not third-party testing, and it says outright that most of Prophet's headline claims -- the 90% MTTR cut, 96% false-positive reduction, zero dwell time -- haven't been independently verified in production. Pricing is entirely custom; Prophet's own blog acknowledges alert volumes vary 10-100x between customers, which is presumably why there's no public rate card. For a buyer, the read is: strong early traction and funding, a genuinely differentiated investigation-depth pitch versus simple enrichment tools, but still light on independent, arm's-length proof.
