Plus AI's case is placement: it works inside Google Slides and PowerPoint, so every generated slide is an ordinary editable slide in the user's own deck rather than an export from another app. Remix, single-slide insertion and document-to-deck generation are the useful parts, and brand kits on Team keep output on template.

Plus AI is made by Plus Docs, Inc., a Seattle company that Dan Li started in 2021 after leaving the venture firm Madrona, with Chloe Qi. Its first product captured live-updating snapshots of dashboards; in June 2023 GeekWire reported the release of an AI slide-deck generator for Google Slides at $10 a month, and that generator is now the whole business. The company page lists $10 million raised, ten staff and a remote team spread over seven cities.
The distinguishing choice is where it works. Plus AI runs as an add-on inside Google Slides and as an add-in for PowerPoint, so decks are built in the file the user already has, rather than in a separate generator that must be exported. It drafts a deck from a prompt or from an uploaded PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file, inserts single slides in a chosen layout, rewrites text and remixes a paragraph into columns or another format, and adds generated images, icons and charts. Team plans add brand kits and saved presets, and Enterprise converts a company's own templates and slide libraries. There is also an API for creating native PowerPoint slides, a Zapier connection and an MCP server.
There is no free plan. Every plan starts with a seven-day trial carrying 1,000 credits, and a credit card is required; if it is not cancelled, the card is charged. Prices quoted on the pricing page are per user per month on annual billing: Basic $10, Pro $20, Team $30 and Max $200, each $5 to $40 more month to month. Plus says a typical task uses 40 to 170 credits, so Basic's 1,500 credits covers roughly a dozen substantial generations a month.
We could not read Plus AI's G2 page on the research day, and earlier reviewer summaries on this page could not be traced, so they have been removed. The practical judgement: a sensible buy for people who already build decks in Slides or PowerPoint and want a faster first draft.
