Eratani is a farm-finance and supply-chain operator rather than an AI product. Its useful idea is putting the whole rice season in one relationship: verified identity for lending, inputs from partner kiosks, agronomist visits and a guaranteed buyer at harvest. The funding is real but small, and the company is still active in 2026.
Treat its impact numbers with care. Yield and income gains come only from Eratani, and its own pages quote income increases of 25%, 27% and over 44%. Relevant to Indonesian rice-sector partners and lenders, not to anyone shopping for farm software.

Eratani is a Jakarta agritech company, operated by PT Eratani Teknologi Nusantara, that works with smallholder rice farmers from planting finance through to selling the harvest. It is still operating: its blog was publishing agronomy articles in September 2026 and its site names it to the 2026 Climate Finance Accelerator Indonesia, a UK-funded programme run by PwC.
The business has three parts. EraFarm puts farmers through KYC checks so partner lenders can finance a season, and adds agronomist visits, budget planning, inputs and crop insurance. EraKios supplies seed, fertiliser and pesticide through a network of partner farm kiosks, which can also borrow through Eratani. EraMarket buys the crop and routes it to partner rice mills and warehouses. The solutions page now also lists agricultural drones and satellite imaging, without saying how widely either is used. None of the pages read describe AI or machine learning; this is a supply-chain and finance business with data tools attached.
Funding is modest and well documented. Eratani's timeline lists a pre-seed round led by Trihill Capital, a $5.3 million seed led by TNB Aura, and a $6.2 million Series A led by Clay Capital in April 2025 with TNB Aura, SBI Ven Capital, AgFunder and Genting Ventures among the participants. AgFunderNews, which reported the round, discloses that its parent AgFunder is an investor.
Scale and impact figures all come from Eratani and do not agree with each other. In April 2025 the company cited 34,000 farmers on 13,498 hectares, with yields up 29% and income up 25% in 2024. Its homepage now claims 46,000 farmers, 21,000 hectares, 120 rice mills and more than Rp111 billion of financing facilitated, with income up over 44%, while its About page says 27%. None of these has been audited.
There is no public pricing and no self-serve sign-up; farmers and partners join through Eratani's field teams or its contact channel.
