Looka is a Toronto logo and branding service run by Looka Inc. Designer Dawson Whitfield launched it as Logojoy in November 2016, using machine learning to generate logo options instead of trading revisions with clients. Logojoy raised a CAD 6 million Series A in November 2018 and on 2 April 2019 renamed itself Looka, saying it had served more than five million entrepreneurs under the old name. The new name came with a wider range: the logo became the way into a brand kit and later an AI-built website. Looka now says 20 million people in 188 countries have used it, which is its own figure.

You type a company name, choose an industry, styles and colours, and the generator produces concepts you can edit. Designing and previewing cost nothing; downloading is what you pay for. The $35 Basic Logo is a single low-resolution PNG. The $72 Premium Logo adds PNG, EPS, SVG and PDF files, colour variations with transparent backgrounds, unlimited changes after purchase and full ownership. The Brand Kit, $96 a year billed annually, adds hi-res and vector files plus more than 300 branded templates, from social posts and business cards to invoices and brand guidelines; Brand Kit Web, $129 a year, adds a website. Looka says you keep the logo after a subscription lapses, but its rights cover the logo as a whole, not individual symbols, and it recommends registering a trademark yourself.

On Trustpilot Looka rated 4.4 from 14,479 reviews, 77% of them five-star, when read on 14 October 2026. Looka invites customers to review and pays for a Trustpilot subscription, which is worth weighing. Earlier versions of this page quoted $20 and $65 package prices that do not appear on Looka's pricing page.

It is a quick, inexpensive way to a first identity. The $35 file is rarely enough, and because symbols are not exclusive, a distinctive mark still calls for a designer.
