iSearch is a credible choice for large Chinese enterprises that already run RPA and want to add agents on top: Magical Automator writes and repairs automations from plain-language requests, DocAgent handles document intake, and the older robots, orchestration and process mining are mature. IDC puts it first in China's RPA+AI product software and second overall.
Pricing is quote-only, references are overwhelmingly mainland Chinese, and the English site is recent. ASEAN buyers should ask for regional references and support terms before committing.
What we found
iSearch (艺赛旗), formally Shanghai i-Search Software Co., Ltd., is one of China's older robotic process automation vendors. The company was set up in 2011, put its first attended robot on the market in 2017 according to its own timeline, and took a strategic investment of more than ¥100 million from Kingdee in 2021. It has since rebranded around agentic process automation, or APA: in April 2026 it launched Magical Automator, which builds and repairs automations from a plain-language request, and DocAgent, which reads, classifies and extracts data from invoices, bills of lading and other documents. Under them sit APA Studio, APA Console, attended and unattended robots, an AI Center for building agents and workflows, and task and process mining.
Its market-share claim needs reading carefully. IDC's own charts put iSearch first in China's RPA+AI product-software segment, with 13.8% in 2023 and 12.3% in 2024, but second in IDC's overall RPA+AI solutions ranking, behind Kingsware (金智维), at 10.1% and 9.1%. Earlier versions of this page said iSearch was first overall, which IDC's figures do not support. In IDC's first APA market-share report, for 2025, iSearch says only that it ranks among the leaders, while rival Laiye claims first place in APA products.
Customers are mostly large Chinese organisations: the vendor names Sinopec's shared-services company, China Pacific Insurance, Hua Xia Bank, ICBC (Asia), SKF and Shanghai Airport Group among more than 1,000 customers. Case-study savings on its site are the vendor's and customers' own figures.
No prices are published; access is through a sales consultation or a trial application, and the Magical Automator desktop app has a free try. An English site at i-search.ai, run under Hong Kong terms by IAFT Limited, and Hong Kong subsidiaries give it more reach outside the mainland than earlier write-ups suggested, though named ASEAN customer references remain thin on both of its sites.
