Fyllo is a working hardware business, not a dashboard pitch: devices from ₹5,999 that farmers install themselves, published prices, an advisor that reads each farm's own sensor data, and a satellite rainfall model. The impact figures on its site are its own and unaudited, but the product and its 2024 funding round are well documented.
It suits Indian horticulture, sugarcane and paddy growers, and organisations that want Kairo's dashboard and API. Value only shows over a season of following the advice, and the annual data recharge is unpriced on the site. Outside India, check support before buying.
What we found
Fyllo is the precision-farming brand of Agrihawk Technologies Private Limited, a Bengaluru company headquartered in HSR Layout. Sudhanshu Rai and Sumit Sheoran, who came from computer-science roles at EdgeVerve and from farming families, started it in 2019. It sells field hardware that farmers install themselves and pairs it with an app that turns the readings into irrigation, fertigation, spray and disease advice. The business is active: the site now lists an Auro smart pump controller as a new launch, and devices can be bought online at prices that include GST.
Prices are published, which earlier versions of this page said they were not. The Nero Pulse paddy-water sensor is ₹5,999, the Nero Infinity root-depth soil-moisture sensor starts at ₹8,999, the Auro motor controller has a launch price of ₹8,399 against an MRP of ₹12,000, and the Kairo weather-and-soil station, which tracks 12 parameters over 100+ acres, costs ₹56,000. Fyllo's FAQ adds an annual SIM recharge for data and cloud storage but does not state its price. Kairo comes with a dashboard and API for farmer producer organisations and corporates.
The AI layer has two named parts. Dharti is a multilingual advisor that answers questions by voice, chat or photo using the farm's live sensor data; Fyllo says 22 agronomists review its answers every week. DeepMet 1 is a rainfall nowcasting model built on INSAT satellite data, giving six-hour forecasts on a 10 km grid through a free public map.
Most impact figures are Fyllo's own: 23,000 devices, 15,000 farmers, 12 countries, 130 billion litres of water saved and yields up about 25%. We found no third-party audit of them. Funding is better documented: Outlook Business reported a $4 million round in May 2024 led by IndiaQuotient and SIDBI Ventures, and Rural Voice reported a potato-farming partnership with HyFarm in May 2025. Fyllo lists Indonesia among its countries but publishes no ASEAN pricing or dealers, so growers there should ask about local agronomy support first.
