Miaoji is a convenient, well-integrated transcription and minutes tool for organisations already living in Feishu or Lark. The key catch is the version: Feishu's free plan includes generous per-person minutes, but Lark's free and Basic plans include no transcription at all, and AI meeting notes on Lark cost extra. Accuracy claims are unbenchmarked. A natural choice for existing Feishu and Lark users; not a reason on its own to adopt the suite.

Feishu Miaoji (飞书妙记), sold internationally as Lark Minutes, is the meeting-recording and transcription feature built into ByteDance's Feishu and Lark workplace suites. It records Feishu or Lark video meetings and uploaded audio or video, transcribes them into searchable, editable text that colleagues can comment on, and uses AI to produce structured meeting minutes with chapter summaries and automatically detected to-dos. Users can translate minutes, play recordings back at custom speed while skipping silences, and on higher Lark plans see real-time subtitles in several languages. Feishu also sells an Anker wearable AI recorder that feeds into Miaoji.
Feishu is run in China by Beijing Feishu Technology, and Lark by Lark Technologies Pte. Ltd., headquartered in Singapore; ByteDance launched the suite in 2019, according to press reports. Lark has genuine Southeast Asian customers, such as the Malaysian coffee chain ZUS Coffee.
What you get depends heavily on which version you use. On Feishu in China, the free plan gives each person 300 minutes of Miaoji transcription a month for teams of up to 100, with 60-minute meetings for 25 people; every paid plan, billed annually, has unlimited transcription — Business Standard at ¥50 per user a month, Business Pro at ¥80 and Business Flagship at ¥120, with Enterprise Flagship by quote. On Lark internationally, the free Starter plan and the $6 Basic plan include no Minutes transcription at all: it requires Pro, at $12 per user a month billed annually or $14.40 monthly, which also brings 500-person meetings and real-time multilingual subtitles, or Enterprise by quote. AI meeting notes on Lark are an extra add-on, priced at $1,699 for 1,800 notes.
