Affinity is a relationship-intelligence CRM built for venture capital, private equity, investment banking, and other relationship-driven dealmaking. Its strength is automatic relationship capture: it ingests email and calendar data to map who knows whom and surface warm intros, removing most manual data entry that kills traditional CRMs. For deal teams it is a clear category leader.
The caveats are price and fit: it is premium, quote-based, and overkill for general sales orgs that would be better served by a standard CRM. The AI/relationship-intelligence layer is the differentiator rather than broad customisation. ASEAN access works via global accounts; data residency is North-America/EU centric. It offers an API for integration but the product is workflow-led. Excellent within its niche, expensive outside it.
