For organisations already running AI workloads in the cloud, Wiz's AI-SPM is a serious option: agentless discovery of models, services and training data, an AI bill of materials, and attack paths mapped on the same security graph as the rest of the estate. The 2026 agents add automated pen-testing, alert investigation and remediation, with human approval steps set in Workflows.

What we found
Wiz AI is the set of AI security features inside Wiz, the cloud security platform headquartered in New York. Two things sit under that name. The first is securing customers' own AI: AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM), which Wiz launched in November 2023, discovers the AI services, models, SDKs and training data running in a cloud account without installing agents, builds an AI bill of materials, and flags misconfigured pipelines and attack paths that reach them. Support for the OpenAI API platform followed in January 2024, and in 2026 Wiz added coverage for agent platforms including AWS AgentCore, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Salesforce Agentforce.
The second is AI used for security work. In November 2025 Wiz released its first agents, for working through issues and triaging threats. In March 2026 it reorganised them into three: a Red Agent that probes web applications and APIs for exploitable flaws, a Blue Agent that investigates alerts and returns a verdict, and a Green Agent that proposes remediation. A drag-and-drop Workflows hub decides when they act alone and when a person approves, and an assistant called Mika and an MCP server carry the Wiz Security Graph into chat tools and IDEs. Wiz says nearly 90% of its customers use AI-powered features; that is the company's own figure.
Ownership changed this year. Google agreed in March 2025 to buy Wiz for $32 billion in cash, and the deal closed on 11 March 2026 after unconditional clearance in the United States, the European Union and five other jurisdictions. Wiz is now part of Google Cloud but keeps its brand, and in July 2026 chief executive Assaf Rappaport restated that it remains multicloud across AWS, Azure and other environments.
Pricing is by quote. The pricing page offers Wiz One, Wiz Go and à la carte licensing behind a sales form, and Wiz says it can also be bought through cloud marketplaces. This is infrastructure for security teams in mid-sized and large organisations, not a self-serve tool.
