Respeecher is the voice-conversion specialist behind several high-profile film and game projects, and its speech-to-speech approach keeps a performer's delivery in a way text-to-speech cannot. The self-serve marketplace makes the technology affordable for smaller producers, with clear credit packs and plans, and the new real-time TTS API is cheap. Respeecher is a Ukrainian voice-cloning company best known for speech-to-speech conversion, which makes one person's performance sound like another voice while keeping the delivery. Its work recreated young Luke Skywalker's voice in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Richard Nixon's voice in MIT's Emmy-winning In Event of Moon Disaster, the voices of Ernest Shackleton and members of the Endurance crew in National Geographic's Endurance, and Hungarian pronunciation for Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones in The Brutalist; it also worked on Emilia Pérez, Better Man, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and God of War Ragnarök. Its Voice Marketplace sells self-serve speech-to-speech and text-to-speech with more than 40 voices and 20 accents, an API and a Pro Tools plugin, and it now offers Respeecher Space, a real-time text-to-speech API streaming in under 200 milliseconds. An AI Voice Lab handles bespoke studio projects.
Respeecher was founded in Ukraine in February 2018 by Alex Serdiuk, Dmytro Bielievtsov and Grant Reaber and operates as Respeecher, Inc., a Delaware corporation with a US address in Burbank, California. It raised $1.5 million in 2020 and further funding in 2023 from investors including Gary Vaynerchuk and ffVC, and the World Economic Forum named it a 2025 Technology Pioneer.
Marketplace pricing is published. Pay-as-you-go credit packs start at $5 for five credits, about 20,000 characters or five minutes of conversion, up to $250 for 500. Subscriptions run from a text-to-speech plan at $18 a month for 100,000 characters to Creator at $89 a month, with 400,000 characters and 90 minutes of conversion, and Power at $499, with 3 million characters, 900 minutes and a dedicated sound engineer; yearly billing saves 17%, and first months were half price when we checked. The Space TTS API costs about $2 per 60,000 characters, and Enterprise is quoted. A free three-day trial excludes commercial use.
Independent reviews are scarce. It suits film, game and advertising producers needing licensed, high-fidelity voice conversion.
