Navan's AI is woven into a full travel and expense platform rather than sold on its own: Ava books, changes and supports trips by chat and, by Navan's count, handled about 60% of customer interactions in the quarter to July 2026. Navan Edge brings the same assistant to individual frequent travellers for free, and an MCP connector opens travel and spend data to a company's own AI tools.

Navan AI is the artificial-intelligence layer of Navan, the corporate travel and expense platform known as TripActions until its 2023 rename. Its assistant, Ava, books and changes trips by chat and answers support questions; in October 2023 it gained Hotel Concierge, which ranks in-policy hotels by a traveller's loyalty programmes, preferred amenities and booking history. Navan says Ava handled about 60% of customer interactions in the quarter to July 2026, and that more than half of its AI calls now run on its own models.
Two newer pieces matter. Navan Edge, for frequent travellers who book for themselves, is a free iOS and web assistant that books flights, hotels and, through an OpenTable partnership, restaurants, always asking for confirmation first, with human agents on call around the clock. In the same quarter Navan launched a Model Context Protocol connector so finance teams can query spend, booking and policy data from their own AI tools. For ASEAN travellers, its Singapore Airlines NDC link was upgraded to a direct connection.
The company listed on Nasdaq as NAVN on 30 October 2025, selling 30 million shares at $25 alongside about 6.9 million from existing holders, roughly $923 million in all; Skift reported the shares fell about 20% on day one. For the quarter to 31 July 2026 Navan reported revenue of $233 million, up 35%, and a GAAP net loss of $29 million, and raised its full-year revenue outlook to between $927 million and $933 million. It has since bought BoomPop for meetings and events and Smartrips in Brazil.
Pricing is simple at the small end. Navan Business is free for companies of up to 300 employees, funded by supplier commissions, and expense management is free for the first five monthly users, then $15 per user per month. Larger organisations get quoted Enterprise pricing.
