But treat the subscription with caution. Trustpilot rates it "Bad" at roughly 1.3–1.5/5, driven almost entirely by billing: users report being switched to annual plans without clearly agreeing to it, a broken cancellation flow, and support that goes quiet for days. Two more things worth flagging before committing money. A proposed federal class action — Attack the Sound LLC et al. v. Kunlun Tech Co. Ltd. et al., filed December 17, 2025 in the Northern District of Illinois — alleges Mureka trained on copyrighted recordings without permission, with DMCA and Illinois biometric-privacy claims attached; nothing has been decided yet. And the ownership language on generated tracks reads "intellectual property rights (if any)" rather than a firm copyright guarantee, so rights-sensitive commercial use needs its own legal review. Paid-tier music video exports also still carry a "Made with Mureka" watermark; audio exports don't.
