Sec-PaLM was Google Cloud's security-tuned LLM behind the Security AI Workbench, fine-tuned with Mandiant threat intelligence to summarise threats, explain alerts and assist analysts. Its real value is for enterprises already in Google Cloud Security/Chronicle who want AI woven into their SOC for faster triage and reduced analyst toil. The underlying intelligence (Mandiant + Google telemetry) is genuinely strong.
The big caveat is that this branding is effectively legacy: Google has moved to Gemini in Security Operations and the experimental Sec-Gemini, so buyers should evaluate the current Gemini-based security offerings rather than Sec-PaLM by name. It is an enterprise Cloud capability, not a standalone product, priced and deployed as part of Google Cloud Security, with API access through that platform.
