E2B is infrastructure for the agent era: it spins up fast, isolated cloud sandboxes (Firecracker microVMs) where AI agents can execute generated code, run tools and use a computer safely without risking the host. For developers building code-interpreter features, autonomous agents or data-analysis tools, it is a clean, well-engineered primitive with genuinely excellent SDKs (Python/JS) and documentation, and an open-source core.
This is a building block, not an end-user product — its audience is engineers, and its value only appears once you're constructing something on top of it. Usage-based pricing scales with sandbox time, which is fair but needs monitoring under heavy agent loads. Globally available and developer-first; no ASEAN-specific concerns beyond latency from chosen regions. One of the best-in-class tools in its narrow, important niche.
