CoRover.ai in Southeast Asia
CoRover.ai has not made confirmed inroads into ASEAN markets as of mid-2026; its flagship deployments are entirely within India's government and financial services sectors. However, the platform's deep multilingual architecture and BharatGPT Mini's offline-first, low-compute design could be relevant to markets like Indonesia, the Philippines, or Vietnam — where rural connectivity is patchy and local-language support is commercially critical. ASEAN enterprises evaluating CoRover should expect to engage as early-market adopters, with the understanding that ASEAN-language training data, local support SLAs, and regional compliance coverage are not yet publicly documented.
CoRover has real production deployments in Indian public services, AskDISHA for IRCTC among them, and in October 2026 was reported as the government's choice for a national AI assistant platform starting with DigiLocker. Its own BharatGPT models are available, gated, on Hugging Face, and it publishes a full price list, which few enterprise vendors do.
The scale figures on its site are its own and should be checked in a pilot. CoRover.ai is a Bengaluru company, operated by CoRover Private Limited, that builds chat, voice, video and WhatsApp assistants for large Indian organisations and runs them as a managed service. Its best-known deployment is AskDISHA, the IRCTC railway assistant, which CoRover's case-study page calls India's first government AI chatbot and credits with more than 150,000 queries a day at 90% accuracy and over 178 million passengers served. Those are CoRover's figures, and the AskDISHA site returned a service-unavailable error when checked on 14 October 2026. Earlier versions of this page also gave AskDISHA ten billion interactions; CoRover's own page attaches that number to a different assistant, KSRTC's AskVaani, so it has been dropped.
BharatGPT is the in-house model family. CoRover publishes gated models on Hugging Face under a custom licence: BharatGPT-mini, about 500 million parameters by its own model file, BharatGPT-3B-Indic, and BharatGPT-Instruct, about five billion parameters, uploaded in September 2026. CoRover says Instruct beats a model fifteen times its size on reasoning benchmarks; that is a vendor claim.
Government work is the bigger story. On 8 October 2026 The Economic Times reported that the Centre had chosen CoRover to build a national unified AI assistant and bot platform, beginning with DigiLocker. In September CoRover and Tech Mahindra announced a partnership pairing BharatGPT with Tech Mahindra's Project Indus model.
Unusually for an enterprise vendor, prices are published, in a downloadable PDF: $12,500 one-time to implement one assistant, then $5,000 a month for licence, hosting and support with 100,000 user messages included, plus per-message charges above that, with bot replies free, and per-minute voicebot rates. Besides Bengaluru, CoRover lists offices in New Delhi and London. The terms add 10% a year and require three months' notice to cancel. Funding is modest beside the deployments: a $4 million Series A led by Venture Catalysts in 2024 and an undisclosed HDFC Bank investment in 2025.
