BeforeSunset AI does the core job of an AI planner well enough: it breaks goals into tasks, time-blocks them into Google Calendar or Outlook, moves unfinished work forward and gives you a focus mode, and early Product Hunt users loved it. The concern now is momentum. Its domain has become the homepage of an iOS app studio, the web pricing page is gone, and the mobile apps have not been updated since 2025. Pricing is also less attractive than it was: the old $8-a-month web plan is no longer published, and Apple's in-app Pro costs from $6.99 a week or $99.99 a year. For a planner you will rely on daily, that combination is a risk. Worth a free try if you like its approach; otherwise compare it with planners that show more recent development, such as Motion or Sunsama.

BeforeSunset AI is an AI daily planner: it breaks goals into tasks, schedules them into your calendar, moves unfinished work forward automatically and wraps the day in a focus mode called Oasis with timers and calming sounds. It syncs with Google Calendar or Outlook and adds recurring tasks and weekly and monthly planning. Founded by Elif Duran, chief executive, and Gökçen Öğütçü, chief technology officer, it launched on Product Hunt in June 2023 and finished product of the day, week and month with more than 1,700 upvotes. Its archived About page claimed more than 50,000 users.
The product looks much quieter in 2026. The beforesunset.ai domain now presents an independent iOS studio making "small, focused apps", with BeforeSunset AI listed among six products, and the web pricing page has been removed. The web app still runs, but the iPhone app was last updated in August 2025 and the Android app in May 2025. Buyers should treat it as a stable product with little visible development rather than one still gaining features.
Pricing has also become harder to read. The last web pricing page, archived in May 2026, offered Pro at $8 a month billed annually, with unlimited AI planning, unlimited calendars, task auto-moving, Oasis focus mode and analytics, and Team Pro at $12 per member a month with a shared workspace and team analytics, plus a seven-day money-back guarantee. Today the clearest prices are Apple's in-app purchases: Pro from $6.99 a week, $19.99 a month or $99.99 a year — far more than the old web price. The apps are free to download, but the free plan's limits are no longer published.
Reviews are positive but thin. Product Hunt shows 4.7 out of 5 from 75 reviews, mostly from the launch period; the main complaint there is about Apple Calendar support. One Capterra reviewer said it had just the right amount of features after trying Motion and Sunsama. The iPhone app has only two US ratings.
